The BMW M5 is a high-performance version of the BMW Serie 5 executive car manufactured by Motorsport division of BMW. Firstly introduced to Amsterdam Motor Show Display in 1984, the first incarnation of M5 has been built by hand by using the chassis 535i and an amended version of BMW M1 engine, being the fastest saloon car in in the world at the moment of its introduction. later iterations of the M5 were constructed from every generation of Serie 5 platform, including the E34, E39, E60/E61, and more recently, F10, with the first few orders given at the end of 2011.

BMW has finally announced pricing in the new 2013 M5 here at the Auto Show New York 2012. Sales of the new 2013 BMW M5 will start later in the summer with a price of $ 90,695.
